A More Perfect Union (motion picture) is the first comprehensive recreation of those stirring, heated debates during the sweltering summer of 1787. Filmed on location at Independence Hall, Williamsburg, Virginia, and other historical sites, it dramatically chronicles how America became a nation and those underlying principles that guard our freedoms today. This is the most ambitious film ever made covering the happenings at the Constitutional Convention and is "...of exceptional merit".

A More Perfect Union, officially recognized by the Commission on the Bicentennial of the United States Constitution, helps to satisfy the requirements of the following federal law.

"each educational institution that receives Federal Funds for a fiscal year shall hold an educational program on the United States Constitution on September 17 of such year for the students served by the educational institution." See the whole law.
